TEAM

David Dicks broke my record as the youngest solo circumnavigator. In doing so, he introduced me to Australian Jon Sanders.  Jon was the first to double circumnavigate the world nonstop solo. He then broke his record two years later by completing a triple unassisted nonstop solo circumnavigation that spanned 81,000-nautical miles and 22-months at sea.  Jon just completed his 8th round-the-world.

I crewed on multiple stages of Jon's 8th circumnavigation while racing the 2009 Rolex Sydney Hobart, double-handing from Tasmania to Perth, and doing the 2011 Cape Rio Race.  Next up the 2012 Rolex Fastnet Race during Jon's (9th) 'lap' aboard his S&S 39"Perie Banou 2".
